STAR "V" MACHINERY Model STA-1C48 Automatic Cross-Taping Machine

The model STA-1C48 is an ideal supplemental work station to streamline and expedite secure cross taping for V-Grooving work on a single head cross groover or v-grooving work on a CNC router.

Some of the key data and features for this model are:

• Working Method: Operator aligns the board to be taped via one of the (5) flip stops against the back fence. Pressing the foot pedal activates the pneumatic hold down as well as the automatic taping machine. At the end of the board, the taping machine automatically cuts the tape off and returns to its starting position for a new cycle.
• Free-standing unit with material table, 51" maximum board width (33" or up to 75" upon request), 4" minimum board width, 12" minimum board length with unlimited length capacity, 1-1/4" maximum board thickness (thicker upon request)
• Maximum tape width 4", max. tape diameter up to 14", 0.5 HP DC motor and chain drive for moving taping head, variable feed speed 10 - 40 FPM, automatic tape end cut-off, taping head returns automatically to its starting position, floating pneumatic hold down bars for material clamping.
• 38" x 80" Arborite covered MDF work table, 33" working height. Complete with air regulator and pressure gauge, anti-noise leveling pads, aluminum fence with (5) flip stops, safety guard, foot pedal control and control panel.
• Air requirements 80 PSI. Electrical hook up for 110 Volts - 4 Amps. Power requirement. Heavy-duty ?" steel tubing construction. Overall dimensions 75" x 90". In-feed & out-feed tables are recommended for longer pieces.
