Application Examples Below you will find some ideas for the application of v-grooving for various products (please excuse the amateur drawings) such as display cases or display fixtures, light valances, window sills, curtain rod coverings, book ends, imitation enterior beams, hand rails, cabinets carcasses, cabinet bases instead of a toe kick construction, display shelves, book shelves, phone block, table tops, vanity tops, countertops and bar tops, column or pipes enclosures, display pdestals even pyramid shaped pedestals. Simply any construction which is currently done with dowel, lamello, butt joint construction or screwed together can be accomplished faster with less handling via v-grooving. Any angles in addition to 90 degree can be cut with v-grooving, for example, for a hexagon shaped column enclosure. Expensive or exotic woods can be easily doubled in thickness for hand rails or table & chair legs to give the impression of thicker solid wood without the higher price tag.
