Roller Conveyor Tables
In-feed & Out-feed Roller Conveyors These gravity conveyors are placed in line with the Star V-Groover to facilitate the handling and aligning of long panels against the side fence. They are adjustable in height by about 12" to match the in-feed height of the Star V-Groover and also to compensate for uneven floors. Numerous width and length sizes are available.
Omni-directional Roller Ball Table The roller ball table is placed parallel about 3-4 feet away from the machine table. It supports the long panel when being cross grooved at the ends while preventing any directional push or pull to the panel along with very little friction. Numerous sizes are available.
Tooling
The Star V-Groover can be operated with any of the three tooling types: carbide tipped, disposable carbide insert or diamond tooling. All have their pros and cons in terms of initial cost, run time, cost per run time, downtime, convenience and flexibility. However, for long runs the diamond tooling will be the most economical tool to v-groove. Below are a few tooling companies we have used with the Star V-Groover and have obtained great results.
